"Abstaining from Solid Food While on the Master Cleanse"
One of the main concerns of most people when following the master cleanse diet is the absence of solid food. Because we are so used to eating solid food all the time, some people are worried that without solid food our health could be adversely affected. Actually this does not represent a problem. Of course it is important that we should have solid food in the long term, however it is not necessary all the time. In actual fact, calories will still be calories even though they are in solid or liquid form. And so is nutrition, You can still get nutritious food even if the food that you ingest in liquid form rather than solid form when you are following the master cleanse diet.
The most important thing to remember is that whatever form of food we take, so long as it is still nutritious it is alright for our health. This is the fundamental principle that we must remember when we are following the master cleanse diet program. You must also remember that the master cleanse is a short term diet of just 10 days. Therefore it is only temporary that you are going on a liquid diet. As mentioned earlier you cannot forgo taking solid food for an extended period of time because there are many health reasons for this. One of the main reasons is that you will need solid food for the heath of your teeth.
But because we are only doing the master for less than 2 weeks, the abstention from solid food will not affect our health. Furthermore the master cleanse diet is a detox diet and we need to have a liquid diet to flush our internal system.
The main ingredients of the master cleanse mostly water and lemon juice. The lemon juice is full of vitamins so you do not have to worry about lack of vitamins in your diet. Beside this you have organic maple syrup to help supply nutrients to your body. Lastly, there is also wheat grass as many of us know it by “super food”. The wheat grass helps to supply the protein which our body needs. In fact a tiny portion of the wheat grass supply a big parts of the required nutrients which our body needs everyday. As such we do not have to worry about having an unhealthy diet.
Thus when you look at the ingredients of the master cleanse diet, you actually see that you can get a balanced meal from it even though its make up is in liquid format. So long as we keep to the recommended period for following the master cleanse diet, we do not have to worry about jeopardizing our health following the popular master cleanse diet.
